Water Task Force Consultancy

About the Water Task Force Consultancy

Who We Are

The Water Task Force Consultancy is a group of three professors and four student interns at Saint Mary’s College engaged in a study to determine the economic impacts of a protracted water shortage on the business community in Contra Costa and Alameda counties. The Contra Costa Economic Partnership, www.cceconptnr.org, on behalf of the Contra Costa Council Water Task Force, www.contracostacouncil.com, has provided funding for the study. Additional funding has been provided by the School of Economics and Business (SEBA) at Saint Mary’s.

The Consultancy will present a summary of its findings at the spring 2006 State of the Economy Conference, sponsored by the SEBA and the Contra Costa Times, and will submit its final report to the Contra Costa Council Water Task Force in the early summer of 2006.
